But the Lord is faithful; he will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.
II Thess 3:3

I am weak. No, you are strong.

If you are facing or had faced a certain situation, but liked it to be otherwise then God’s telling you “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” 2 Corinth 12:9.

You might have prayed and pleaded like Paul did and wondered why God did not grant your request. You might also see that not-granted prayer as a thorn in your life. That thorn might remain forever, but His grace is sufficient to fulfil all the plans He has for you. God will use that thorn to display His amazing power; and all through your life, you will see the power of God in your weakness doing things that you cannot do with your own strength. Then we can boldly say, ‘When I am weak, I am strong.

When we focus on God’s grace and powerful leading in our situation rather than the thorn, we have a testimony rather than grief and most importantly we understand its only His grace and not our efforts.
